EE/Computer/Physics Associate (2-5 years’ experience)
The Firm seeks an associate to work closely with renowned clients in drafting and prosecuting electronic and software-related patent applications for cutting-edge technologies. Requirements include an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related science with strong knowledge of computer systems or machine learning. A minimum of two years’ experience in patent preparation and prosecution is preferred. The candidate must be admitted to practice before the USPTO. Mechanical Prosecution Attorney (2-4 years' experience)
The Firm seeks an Intellectual Property attorney with approximately two years’ experience for sophisticated patent prosecution and opinion practice. However, as you grow with Lerner David, you will have opportunities to work directly with clients in other aspects of our patent practice, including clearance investigations and opinions, client counseling, management and strategic planning. Mechanical engineering or similar background preferred. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication and investigational skills and experience in prior art research, patent application drafting, prosecution and the analysis of invalidity and infringement issues.
